In Rwanda a children’s home “Solomon’s House” was built and is being maintained by Majestic Grace Inc. Currently Solomon’s House is home to 26 children, we have also placed 40 children in Foster families,many who were relatives that could not support the child. We provide food and school fees for these children.  $55 per child monthly will cover their food, clothing and school fees.

The local pastor we work with is Eric Mugabonake.  We have been working closely with him for 7 years.

Food, Utilities, Building Maintenance, Staff and School Fees for the children are among our ongoing needs. Majestic Grace also raises the funds to provide medical insurance for our children, staff and their families as well as other impoverished citizens in the community. $3.00 per year covers one person. 

We  expanded this property to include a School & Discipleship training Center.  The government (understandably) required us to expand our housing to separate the boys from the girls.

Currently our School is still under construction and in need of many items for it to be accredited by their government. There is also a need to complete the fence surrounding the property.  A desire of Jane’s heart is to to construct a road that leads from the main road to the house. The current road is dirt and large ditches  occur  each year during the rainy season. making it very difficult to reach the property. The current need is approximately $5,000 to complete the building and $15,000 furnishing the school including a computer lab,desks, tables, chairs, government curriculum and a library.

 In addition to the Orphanage and school Eric pastor’s the church that meets on the property.

He has  had the opportunity to host, pastor and leaders conferences on premises as well.  Solomon’s House is also home to “Young African Discipleship Institute” (YADI). YADI functions a lot like YWAM.

Our desire for the future  is to build a community center that will help bring in finances for the work there. It would also provide an indoor facility for students during the rainy season.
